Alena Sharp Secures Victory in the Ladies Epson Tour

We are thrilled to announce the remarkable victory of our client, Alena Sharp, in the highly competitive Ladies Epson Tour.

Alena's outstanding performance throughout the tournament exemplified her unwavering commitment to the process and jumped her up 29 spots on the money list from No. 37 to No.8 after capturing her second Epson Tour victory at the Champions Fore Change Invitational, her first win since 2014.

Hailing from Canada, Sharp has spent most of her career on the LPGA Tour, racking up nearly $3 million in career earnings before getting dual status for the 2023 season. She has played in four Epson Tour events in 2023 and has yet to miss a cut. Having started working with Pete earlier this season the team have designed a coaching process that has enabled Sharp to get the most from her game and catapult her back into the winner’s circle.

Sharp started the day a little shaky with a bogey on the fourth hole, moving her into a tie for the lead. But, after the bogey, it was all Sharp in the final round. She would play the next 14 holes bogey-free and add five birdies to her overall total in that span. Once she regained the solo lead, no one was able to grab a share of it again.

"Today, I played really steady," said Sharp. "I was really happy with my play. It was a little windy today, but I controlled my trajectory really well and am just really proud of myself."

Close final rounds have been a stable in her career. Sharp has racked up a whopping 15 top-10 finishes on the LPGA Tour and 11 more on the Epson Tour. The Canadian knows how hard it is to win at any level of professional golf and will not take the moment for granted.

"I stayed present all day, and if I had a negative thought, I backed off and started again," said Sharp. "You need luck when you win as well, and I had some luck, so I am just really happy right now."

So, what’s next for Sharp?

Pete flew out to the States to work with Alena at Atlantic City's largest annual sporting event, the 2023 ShopRite LPGA Classic which took place from June 5-11, featuring 144 of the world's best female professional where Alena successfully made the cut and finished T.62 after rounds of 70,69,74 to finish on 213.
